Understanding happiness

Finding happiness at times can be difficult, for most on a daily, hourly basis.
I find that the things that we do throughout our day, may be compared to transactions, because in all reality, that is what our doings are.
Observe what it is that is being given to the day.
Our tendencies for most as I have observed, is to become distracted.
What is it that is overtaking our time? What is it that we are exchanging? Look deeper and ask, what am I gaining? At times maybe the earnings are not significant, but given day after day, the extent of outcomes to our choices are more clearly seen.
Being careful to what it is, and how it is that we give is important, for what is given, is eventually received.
